Saint Angel has a velvety covering of fine, white, mould and a soft, luscious texture, this cheese has a very clean finish on the palate. It is rich, sweet and decadent. What distinguishes this range from other modern-style cheeses is the delicate white rind, velvety textured interior and crowd-pleasing flavour experienced across the range. Best enjoyed when the rind starts to bulge and the centre is oozing with rich, buttery flavour. Made with outstanding consistency throughout the year, their range of cheeses are naturally low in lactose and suitable for vegetarians. Like its cousin, Fromager d’Affinois, this cheese is made using ultrafiltration which creates a silky texture unparalleled by other production methods. Its flavour is creamy and sweet thanks to the extra cream used to boost its fat content to French Triple Cream standards making it a truly indulgent experience, especially when paired with Champagne!
